They go above and beyond for our kids and is always finding creative ways to add enrichment to their monthly curriculum. They use customized materials for each unit and even brought a real Alpaca during a unit! The kids adored it! Best of all, I can see in my children each day that they are in an environment that encourages them, teaches them life skills and academic skills, and truly cares about them. Their teachers are soft spoken, attentive, and very well educated and our child adores them. Our child loves attending, enjoys the environment and energy in the atmosphere. Our 2.5 year old son is cautious child by nature. He takes time to adjust and to warm up to new faces but when we joined TLC it was clear that he is in great hands and his personality was not only respected but celebrated. They clearly love the kids they teach and care for. It is obvious how they interact, how much personal time they put, and how many fun experiences they provide for them. Since joining, our son has learned many new words and is stringing words together. His confidence increased to where he tries things without waiting and observing which is a big deal for him. He learned to take care of his belongings. He takes care of his outdoor clothes independently, hangs them on his hook, places his shoes on the mat at home unprompted! The quality of the food is excellent. I am a nutritionist so this was a deal breaker for me! They work with us through his allergies too. Highly recommend this home away from home!

My family has been with The Learning Child since 2015, from my eldest son Zachary, and until now with my youngest daughter, Lucia. Ms. Kris, as we call her, work hard to create a sense of family atmosphere in the center. We are delighted with how the children at her school thrive. She is dedicated in ensuring she provide the best quality of care and education to her students. Implementation of the Montessori program is at its best, my child entered kindergarten with advance skills you don’t expect from a 5-year-old. His teacher commended that his preschool teacher done a great job in preparing him for big school. Her warm and approachable character help establish good relationship with families.

For a decade, The Learning Child Services Inc. has been providing high quality childcare with exceptional full day Montessori preschool program in the Northwest community of Panorama Hills, Calgary. Passionate in the field of Early Years and Special Education, our founder dedicated 18 years of experience and nearly 14 years of education with specialization in Early Childhood Development, Family Studies, Special Education, Educational Research, and Montessori. Our company is rooted in the belief that early childhood education yields profound and long-lasting results – not just in academic achievement, but in virtually every aspect of a person’s life. WHY THE LEARNING CHILD?
